2009 First Time Homebuyers Tax Credit
Congress voted along with the Senate to expand and extend the home buyers credit. Federal Homebuyer Tax Credit now available for first time (up to $8,000) and repeat (up to $6,500) buyers.

KENTUCKY NEW HOME BUYER TAX CREDIT: What you need to do.
The New Home Tax Credit is a nonrefundable credit, up to $5000, against individual income tax allowable to a qualified buyer, provided a cap of $25,000,000 for all approved New Home Tax Credits has not been met.
