Residential real estate sales by members of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR) positively impacted the Clark County economy in first half of 2017 with 265 reported sales totaling $40,291,083. Sales continue to be a driving force in Clark County economy.
Residential sales increased 26 percent from 211 sales reported in first half of the year 2016 to 265 sales reported in first half of the year 2017. The median sales price increased seven percent from $121,000 in first half of the year 2016 to $130,000 in first half of the year in 2017. The average days on the market decreased 31 percent from 100 days in first half of the year 2016 to 69 days in first half of the year 2017.
Residential sales in Clark County increased 13 percent from June 2016 with 46 sales compared to 52 sales in June 2017. Pending sales decreased from 54 in June 2016 to 52 pending sales reported in June 2017. The median sales price had increased from $121,000 in June 2016 to $130,000 in June 2017. New listings increased 40 percent from 53 new listings in June 2016 to 74 new listings in June 2017.
