Residential real estate sales by members of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR) positively impacted the Woodford County economy in first half of 2017 with 160 reported sales totaling $36,862,451. Sales continue to be a driving force in Woodford County economy.
Residential sales decreased two percent from 164 sales reported in first half of the year 2016 to 160 sales reported in first half of the year 2017. The median sales price had no percentage of change from $201,450 in first half of the year 2016 to $202,000 in first half of the year in 2017. The average days on the market decreased 19 percent from 63 days in first half of the year 2016 to 51 days in first half of the year 2017.
Residential sales in Woodford County had no percentage of change from June 2016 with 33 sales compared to 33 sales in June 2017. Pending sales increased from 37 in June 2016 to 42 pending sales reported in June 2017. The median sales price had increased from $182,000 in June 2016 to $252,000 in June 2017. New listings increased 67 percent from 39 new listings in June 2016 to 65 new listings in June 2017.
