RCHF donates $100,000 to local non-profits

The Realtor-Community Housing Foundation (RCHF) has donated $100,000 to local non-profits in the Bluegrass community. Lexington Habitat for Humanity received $50,000 for their Love Your Neighborhood program which focuses on revitalization in low-income neighborhoods through owner-occupied home repairs. REACH, Inc. received $50,000 for emergency repairs for existing homes for low- to moderate-income families and individuals. Repairs will include hot water heaters, plumbing, and roofs in the 22 county jurisdiction of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of Realtors (LBAR). Both organizations align with the Realtor-Community Housing Foundation’s goal to empower families and strengthen neighborhoods by assisting homeowners in need to be able to stay in their homes.

RCHF is a 501(c) (3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization incorporated in 1992 established by the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of Realtors® (LBAR). RCHF's goal is to empower families and strengthen neighborhoods by assisting homeowners in need to be able to stay in their homes and help single-parent graduates of the One Parent Scholar program become first-time home owners.
