LBAR continues book donations, takes aim at bullying - Feb 18th, 10 On February 10, joined by Tara Calahan King, illustrator of Enemy Pie, and LBAR members, a proclamation was presented by Colmon Eldridge, Executive Assistant to the Governor, naming March as Safe Passage Month. Safe Passage Month has been initiated to call awareness to the most common form of violence in our society, bullying.

In its second year, Melissa Poynter, the chair of the LBAR Community Education Task Force, has continued to lead this project. REALTOR ® Adam Burton read the book to the children. Housing Affordability – UK Releases Study for Lexington - Jul 9th, 09 Amid concerns about the availability of affordable housing in Lexington, the University of Kentucky Center for Business and Economic Research released encouraging results from their “Housing Affordability” study. The study shows that there is ample affordable housing for residents of Fayette County.
