Residential real estate sales by members of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR) positively impacted the Bluegrass economy in 2009 as of September 30 with 5,815 reported sales totaling $900,807,893

Sales rose 7% in the Bluegrass during September 2009 vs. September 2008. Monthly inventory fell 11% for the same time period, meaning that there are fewer properties on the market.

LBAR President Gale Fulton said, “Interest rates are very low; there is a good selection of homes on the market and there is no reason not to be able find the home of your choice.”
