Local REALTOR elected as National Director

Lexington, KY – The Kentucky Association of REALTORS® (KAR), one of the state’s largest professional associations representing nearly 10,000 members, elected and installed the 2011 KAR board of directors and leadership during the 88th Annual KAR Convention in French Lick, Indiana.
The Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS (LBAR) is proud to announce that Charlie Murphy of Charlie Murphy Real Estate was elected to serve as a Director to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
Murphy will serve as one of two national Directors for the state of Kentucky to NAR. He is a past president of both LBAR and KAR, and has served on numerous committees at the local, state and national level. Charlie has been selected as the LBAR REALTOR® of the Year twice in his distinguished career. He has been a member of LBAR for 49 years.
