Key leaders from around the region flocked to presentations this week presented by the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR.)  LBAR rolled out their new Regional Datamine and their landmark public opinion survey efforts.  The LBAR Regional Datamine brings together the best in information with public opinion surveys and helps provide leaders with critical insights as they make decisions that affect citizens of the Bluegrass.  Presentations of survey results were delivered to elected officials, business and community leaders in Anderson, Clark, Fayette, Franklin, Jessamine, Montgomery and Scott Counties throughout the week of May 4-8.

Spearheaded by the LBAR Economic And Development Strategy (LEADS) Committee, this project recognizes the importance for the average citizen’s voice to be heard on the increasingly highprofile discussions regarding what is being referred to as “regionalism.” With members in many Central Kentucky counties, LBAR is uniquely suited to give citizens a chance to voice how they define the region by simply asking them.

LBAR President Gale Fulton says, "The association is concerned about the well-being of central Kentucky residents. We believe very strongly in working to promote a great quality of life for those in our area. In an effort to understand what is important to the people of the region, LBAR engages in ongoing research. The latest round of surveys was conducted across ten central Kentucky counties to help us better understand lifestyles, daily life decision-making and key quality of life issues.”

As the region's leading advocate for real estate ownership, Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR) understands and promotes the value of home and commercial property ownership. LBAR is a leader in regional cooperation representing more than 2,100 REAL TORS® located in Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
