This year the Young Realtors of the Bluegrass, part of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of Realtors (LBAR), sponsored the Salvation Army Angel Tree program by sponsoring 140 children this holiday season. The group, with the help of several local real estate companies and LBAR members, is proud to support this local non-profit in the Bluegrass community.
In addition to sponsoring Angel Tree children, the group donated new winter coats, hats, socks, and gloves to Gods Net as part of their 21st Annual Faith and Community Christmas Store. The group has supported numerous organizations throughout the year with monetary donations and tangible items including Catholic Action Center, Frankfort Access Soup Kitchen & Men’s Shelter, Habitat for Humanity, Lighthouse Ministries, Kentucky Wounded Heroes, Powell County Board of Education, OPAC, Realtor-Community Housing Foundation (RCHF), Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass, and Salvation Army. Furthermore the group donates their time volunteering on a regular basis to several local charities in the area.
The activities of the Young Realtors of the Bluegrass would not be possible without the support of the 2016 Young Realtors sponsors including: AAA Insurance; Bank of England Mortgage; Bank of the Bluegrass & Trust; BB&T; Bluegrass Land Title; City National Bank; Community Trust Bank, N.A.; Fayette Heating and Air; Fifth Third Bank; First American Home Warranty; First Liberty Financial Mortgage; First Security Bank; Guardian Savings Bank, FSB; Home Warranty, Inc; Jett Title; Mortgage Suppliers; MortlImaging/ TourFactory; Movement Mortgage; Rite Rug; Stockton Mortgage; and Wells Fargo.
