Continuing
their long-term commitment to healthy communities for central Kentucky
homeowners, the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR) announced
today its $2,000 investment in the Mt. Sterling-Montgomery
County Industrial Authority. This is
part of a $165,000 contribution the association has pledged over the next five
years to promote economic development.
This initiative supports activities
directly related to job creation, expansion and retention. A financial investment
is available to each local economic development organization within LBAR's
primary service area.
LBAR President Ty
Brown said, “This investment is a means of
achieving a healthy real estate market in central Kentucky. The association
works hard to be considered a true partner in regional issues and facilitator
of collaboration. We can be trusted as an impartial investor when it comes to
county by county issues because of our regional organizational nature.”
As the region’s leading advocate for homeownership, Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR) understands the value and joy of owning a home. LBAR represents more than 3,000 REALTORS® located in Anderson, Bath, Bell, Bourbon, Clark, Clay, Elliott, Fayette, Franklin, Harrison, Jackson, Jessamine, Knox, Laurel, Menifee, Montgomery, Nicholas, Powell, Rowan, Scott, Whitley, and Woodford Counties.
