LBAR announces $89.3 million in Woodford County real estate sales for 2017

Residential real estate sales by members of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR) positively impacted the Woodford County economy in 2017 with 345 reported sales totaling $89,283,349. Sales continue to be a driving force in Woodford County economy.

Residential sales had no percentage of change from 346 sales reported in 2016 to 345 sales reported in 2017. The median sales price increased 11 percent from $193,700 in 2016 to $215,000 in 2017.  The average days on the market decreased 18 percent from 57 days in 2016 to 47 days in 2017. 

Residential sales in Woodford County decreased 39 percent from December 2016 with 31 sales compared to 19 sales in December 2017. Pending sales decreased from 18 in December 2016 to 15 pending sales reported in December 2017. The median sales price increased from $160,000 in December 2016 to $185,000 in December 2017. New listings decreased 11 percent from 19 new listings in December 2016 to 17 new listings in December 2017.
