LBAR announces $11.4 million in Anderson County real estate sales in first quarter 2018

Residential real estate sales by members of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR) positively impacted the Anderson County economy in first quarter 2018 with 62 reported sales totaling $11,424,111. Sales continue to be a driving force in Anderson County economy.

Residential sales had no percentage of change with 62 sales reported in first quarter 2017 and first quarter 2018. The median sales price increased 23 percent from $150,299 in first quarter 2017 to $184,260 in first quarter in 2018.  The average days on the market decreased 32 percent from 95 days in first quarter 2017 to 65 days in first quarter 2018. 

Residential sales in Anderson County increased eight percent from March 2017 with 24 sales compared to 26 sales in March 2018. Pending sales increased from 20 in March 2017 to 27 pending sales reported in March 2018. The median sales price had increased from $149,750 in March 2017 to $161,750 in March 2018. New listings had no percentage of change with 27 new listings in March 2017 and March 2018.
