Residential real estate sales by members of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR) positively impacted the Clark County economy in first half of 2018 with 231 reported sales totaling $38,976,408. Sales continue to be a driving force in Clark County economy.
Residential sales decreased 13 percent from 265 sales reported in first half of the year 2017 to 231 sales reported in first half of the year 2018. The median sales price increased 22 percent from $130,000 in first half of the year 2017 to $158,000 in first half of the year in 2018. The average days on the market increased seven percent from 69 days in first half of the year 2017 to 74 days in first half of the year 2018.
Residential sales in Clark County decreased four percent from June 2017 with 52 sales compared to 50 sales in June 2018. Pending sales increased from 52 in June 2017 to 55 pending sales reported in June 2018. The median sales price had increased from $137,500 in June 2017 to $170,500 in June 2018. New listings decreased four percent from 74 new listings in June 2017 to 71 new listings in June 2018.
