Residential real estate sales by members of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR) positively impacted the Harrison County economy in first half of 2018 with 79 reported sales totaling 11,490,755. Sales continue to be a driving force in Harrison County economy.
Residential sales increased four percent from 76 sales reported in first half of the year 2017 to 79 sales reported in first half of the year 2018. The median sales price increased 40 percent from $96,625 in first half of the year 2017 to $135,000 in first half of the year in 2018. The average days on the market increased 10 percent from 72 days in first half of the year 2017 to 79 days in first half of the year 2018.
Residential sales in Harrison County increased 64 percent from June 2017 with 11 sales compared to 18 sales in June 2018. Pending sales increased from 18 in June 2017 to 19 pending sales reported in June 2018. The median sales price had increased from $112,000 in June 2017 to $156,450 in June 2018. New listings increased 13 percent from 24 new listings in June 2017 to 27 new listings in June 2018.
