Residential real estate sales by members of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR) positively impacted the Jessamine County economy in first half of 2018 with 357 reported sales totaling $89,097,685. Sales continue to be a driving force in Jessamine County economy.
Residential sales decreased two percent from 365 sales reported in first half of the year 2017 to 357 sales reported in first half of the year 2018. The median sales price increased 12 percent from $164,900 in first half of the year 2017 to $185,000 in first half of the year in 2018. The average days on the market decreased 12 percent from 52 days in first half of the year 2017 to 46 days in first half of the year 2018.
Residential sales in Jessamine County decreased 20 percent from June 2017 with 93 sales compared to 74 sales in June 2018. Pending sales decreased from 87 in June 2017 to 74 pending sales reported in June 2018. The median sales price had increased from $176,500 in June 2017 to $242,250 in June 2018. New listings decreased 17 percent from 121 new listings in June 2017 to 100 new listings in June 2018.
